Denotation A boy who is looking sad and wearing cheap clothes and the logo Connotation The boy is wearing a blue cheap shirt and there is a red logo on it and a small house in the back round and the boy is sad because he needs water because it says WaterAid in the advert. Analysis The advert helps the audience  understand what are some people feeling and what they need and the advert is trying to show us the message that if we pay at least £2 we can help them and make them happy. Denotation There is lots of texts such as "we are equal" and "end racism" there is people from different colours and different regions Connotation The connotations of this image shows how racism is treated. The phrase "we are all equal" suggests  how people are standing next to each other, they are against racism and there is people form different regions and different colours and they are all want the same thing, they have rights.
